    Multipole (E1, M1, E2, M2, E3, M3) transition wavelengths and rates between 3l5l' excited and ground states in nickel-like ions

    A relativistic many-body method is developed to calculate energy and transition rates for multipole transitions in many-electron ions. This method is based on relativistic many-body perturbation theory (RMBPT), agrees with MCDF calculations in lowest-order, includes all second-order correlation corrections and includes corrections from negative energy states. Reduced matrix elements, oscillator strengths, and transition rates are calculated for electric-multipole (dipole (E1), quadrupole (E2), and octupole (E3)) and magnetic-multipole (dipole (M1), quadrupole (M2), and octupole (M3)) transitions between 3l5l' excited and ground states in Ni-like ions with nuclear charges ranging from Z = 30 to 100. The calculations start from a 1s22s22p63s23p63d10} Dirac-Fock potential. First-order perturbation theory is used to obtain intermediate-coupling coefficients, and second-order RMBPT is used to determine the matrix elements. A detailed discussion of the various contributions to the dipole matrix elements and energy levels is given for nickellike tungsten (Z = 74). The contributions from negative-energy states are included in the second-order E1, M1, E2 M2, E3, and M3 matrix elements. The resulting transition energies and transition rates are compared with experimental values and with results from other recent calculations. These atomic data are important in modeling of M-shell radiation spectra of heavy ions generated in electron beam ion trap experiments and in M-shell diagnostics of plasmas.Comment: 21 pages, 8 figures, 11 table

    Excitation collision strengths, cross sections and rate coefficients by electron impact are calculated for the transitions among the Is^22s^2, Is^22p^2, 1 s^22s2p levels of Be-like system of OV, SiXI, FeXXlll and MoXXXIX ions by Coulomb-Born approximation with exchange including relativistic effect and configuration interactions. The theoreticai method for calculation is described and the results are compared with the previous calculations. Numerical data and comparison are presented in Tables as well as in Figures. Two kinds of fitting formulae for cross sections and rate coefficients are discussed

    The addition of chlorhexidine acetate compounds to composite material can increase its antimicrobial properties and reduce the risk of secondary caries. In order to evaluate the antimicrobial activity, samples of composite material containing an antimicrobial additive were prepared by adding various amounts of chlorhexidine acetate to the composite paste. The study showed that the addition of chlorhexidine acetate to the composite material Restavrin increased its antimicrobial properties.Добавление соединений хлоргексидина ацетата к композитному материалу способно повысить его антимикробные свойства и снизить риск развития вторичного кариеса. Для оценки антимикробной активности были получены образцы композитного материала с антимикробной добавкой путем добавления различных количеств хлоргексидина ацетата в композитную пасту. Исследование показало, что добавление хлоргексидина ацетата в состав композитного материала Реставрин привело к увеличению антимикробных свойств композитного материала

    Deux méthodes de calcul des paramètres atomiques nécessaires à l'analyse du spectre X des ions du Fe XXIII - Fe XIX (1.85 - 2 Å) sont comparées. La comparaison est faite sur les raies satellites diélectroniques du type 1s2sk2pn - 1s22skpn-1 (longueurs d'onde, probabilités de transition radiative et d'autoionisation, facteurs de raies). Cette étude a pour but l'interprétation des spectres X émis par les plasmas chauds et de faible densité (éruptions solaires et plasmas de Tokamak).Two different calculation methods are compared for Fe XXIII - Fe XIX spectra in the X-ray range between 1.85 - 2 Å, for transitions of the type 1s2sk2pn-1s22sk2pn-1 Wavelengths, radiative transition and autoionization probabilities as well as the intensity factors are compared.
